What history ask before do CT scan chest

*Patient come for HRCT chest for COVID

 1. What is compliant of the patient.
 2. Cough, cold and fever?
 3. How long time? 
 4. RT PCR test is done? 
 5. Positive or negative? 
 6. Vomiting? 
 7. Any old history of TB tuberculosis or pneumonia? 

 *Patient come for chest in trauma

 1) Which location pain? 
 2) Swelling? 
 3) Bleeding? 
 4) Vomiting? 
 5) X-ray chest is done? 

 * When patient need contrast. 

 1} Patient need maximum 4 HR NBM ( Neel by mouth) to avoid vomiting 🤮 the scan.

     You need to ask patient serum creatinine test was done? Patient said yes, you ask what is the report. Can you provide the report?
    
   when patient said serum creatinine test was not done. you need to call pathology technician and do serum creatinine. When creatinine is normal you can do contrast study. And get better report.
