What are the 5 different types of strokes?

         The five types of strokes are medical emergencies that stop or interrupt the flow of blood to the brain.

These types are:

Ischemic Stroke.

Haemorrhagic Stroke.

Transient Ischemic Attack (Mini-Stroke)

Brain Stem Stroke.

Cryptogenic Stroke (stroke of unknown cause)

 

Ischemic stroke.

             An ischemic stroke occurs when the blood supply to part of brain parancima is interrupted or reduced preventing brain tissue from collecting oxygen and nutrients. Brain cells being to die in minutes. A stroke is a medical emergency and promote treatment is crucial. . early action can lessen mind harm and different complication.

What is the main cause of ischemic stroke?

                 They happen when a blood clot block the flow of Blood and oxygen to the brain.  This blood clot typically from in aeria wher the ARTERY have been narrowed or blocked over time by fatty deposits (plaques). This process ia known as atherosclerosis.

What are signs of ischemic stroke?

Sever headache.

Numbness or weakness or face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.

Confusion.

Trouble seeing in one or both eyes.

Problem walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination.

 

Haemorrhagic stroke.

Also called Cerebral hemorrhage.

Cause:- high blood pressure and trauma are 2 leading causes.

Symptoms:- sever headache, difficult speaking or walking.

 

Transient ischemic attack (TIA).

A brief stroke like attack that deposit resolving within minutes to hours, still requires immediate medical attention to distinguish from an actual stroke.

A TIA is a warring sign of fucture stroke.

 

Brain 🧠 stem stroke.

        A brain stem stroke happens when bills supply to the base of the brain is stopped. This can effect many functions in the human BODY such as heart’rate, breathing control’ and blood pressure.

 

Symptoms:-

Vertigo and dizziness.

Changes of hearing.

Changes to eye movement.

Loss of coordination.

Weakness on one side.

Loss of ability to speaking

 

Cryptogenic Stroke:-

    Stroke without a known cause are called  Cryptogenic.
